I have a couple of new features to announce today.
The first is the direct result of a suggestion from @chrishonmusic, and I have called it 'the Router'.

By enabling the 'ROUTER' control in the header, KDx will intercept any standard incoming MIDI messages from any connected controller, then remap the MIDI channel(s) to allow you to play the sound you are currently editing in KDx.
While this initially seemed like a simple task, as I got into it, I remembered that MONTAGE/MODX and MONTAGE M/MODX M have a very complex way of managing MIDI channels, especially in the case of the classic MONTAGE/MODX where where are three completely different modes (Multi, Single, Hybrid), which fundamentally change the way that MIDI channels are assigned to Parts. Thankfully, KDx now successfully detects all the necessary settings and routes the MIDI accordingly (regardless of the channel on which the controller is transmitting).
This is particularly useful when editing SEQTRAK sounds, which would otherwise require you to manually change the MIDI transmission channel on your connected controller in order to target a specific Track/Part.
To use the Router, just enable it using the control in the header, then play notes using any MIDI controller connected to your computer. The Router is set off by default, and needs to be activated whenever a new KDx page is loaded if you want to use it.

Unfortunately, Yamaha do not at present provide a look-up table to convert the parameter values for these controls into human-readable values, but you will find that you can see the result of updating them by looking at the adjustments made to the fine/coarse tune knobs when you adjust the two new controls.

FM-X Enhancement
(MONTAGE M / MODX M)
MONTAGE M and MODX M have an additional set of controls for managing FM-X operator frequency and ratio. They don't do anything that MONTAGE and MODX can't do by adjusting the Coarse and Fine tune controls, but they can be quite convenient to use.

Unfortunately, Yamaha do not at present provide a look-up table to convert the parameter values for these controls into human-readable values, but you will find that you can see the result of updating them by looking at the adjustments made to the fine/coarse tune knobs when you adjust the two new controls.
