Confirmed Slider positions not in sync with values?

Still having trouble with my 5 elements that were all copied from Element 1. I restarted everything, the MODX-M and the KDx programmer.

When it synced in the values from the MODX-M (where I had saved the performance) it seems there are a number of controls that are not showing correctly or behave oddly. This is just a sample of the problems I am having:

This is the element EQ in elements 1 and 2. Why is Q is disabled in the 1st but not the 2nd (doesn't matter which element is selected)? Frequencies are not shown in the 2nd element until you move the knobs but I think the knob positions are correct.

Low gain: when I click on the 1st element it says it is 0.0db but it should be in the middle of the slider. In the 2nd element it is actually 0.08db and if I tweak it slightly it is now 0.0db exactly in the middle. The 1st element slider is very odd because the value with slider at bottom is -5.6db, at the middle is +19.1db, and at the top is +44.3db!

High gain: 1st element is 0.0db and is correctly in the middle. In the 2nd element it cannot display the value (the tooltip pops up but has very little height and no value displayed) but as soon as I actually move it, it instantly jumps to the middle of the slider and shows a value of 0.0db or thereabouts (it does alter as I move it as you would expect)

The 3rd, 4th and 5th elements all look like this:

Both low and high gain show the empty tooltip when clicked and instantly jump to the middle when moved.

It sounds to me like the system might be trying to set the slider/knob values before it has set the mode value, which would prevent the controls from accepting the correct values. I'll dig into it and see what I can find.

Not sure if this is related or a separate issue but I was trying to edit the "Piano Back" factory preset. It shows up in the kdx programmer but I can see that many of the later elements do not have the correct waveform numbers. Pressing sync didnt fix it (I thought it might).

Waveform numbers on my modx-m for the 8 elements are 52, 52, 58, 64, 50, 2156, 2162, 2160.
Here on the kdx programmer they are: 52, 52, 58, 6, 6, 6, 6, 2160.
Elements 4, 6, 7 just display "..." for the waveform name.

I'm not sure I can trust any of the values in elements 4 to 7 so I'll have to go back to editing on the hardware:(
